Thanks so much to all of you. Well...I made it though 2010 and am ready for a much better 2011 :D My plan is to use quilting and this board in my recovery process so a Meet and Greet in March sounds like just the thing! :D
So let's get this ball up and running again!! We have folks all the way from far Western KY up to Northern KY who are interested so first thing is to decide on a location. I stared at a Kentucky map for a while and I guess Etown is kind of in the middle of the state but not sure what they have there?? I am totally open for ideas!!

I only came up with 1 quilt shop in E-town.

http://quiltshops.blogspot.com/2009/...abethtown.html

There is Glendale which is very close:

We have been there several times and it's good antiquing and we love The Whistlestop Cafe! Looks like E-town for the motels though if it's a sleepover.

What kind of activities is everyone interested in? If it's to be "quilty" then Paducah for sure, Lexington or Louisville I don't know well but have a lot more going on.

I have looked at the website for Pieceful Haven and it looks lovely. I think it would be a nice place to meet and the price is great too, however, she is only able to accomodate 18 people for sleeping overnite.

Now as for the dates we have been considering, there is a Quilter's Day Out planned for Saturday, March 12th in Louisville, Kentucky and then there is also a Quilter's Day Out planned for Saturday, March 19th in Clarksville, Indiana. With these 2 events sheduled on these Saturdays, maybe one of these weekends might be a good time to plan our meet and greet weekend. Opinions anyone?

Not sure just exactly but the fliers I have picked up at the LQS make them show like something we might be interested in attending. I am attaching copies of the flyers for anybody that might be interested.
