The West Point, Ga area. If you've never heard of West Point, it's relatively close to Lagrange and Columbus, Ga. And Opelika and Auburn, Al. I am a beginner quilter and am hoping to find people that live in my general area that also quilts. I am also relatively new to this area. I wish I did---but I am east of Atlanta in Between, GA. It would be fun to chat with you, I am sure. I hope you find some people----this is a huge neighbor hood of quilters and sewers.

I don't live too near you----I'm in Atlanta, outside the Perimeter on the Northeast side---but if you ever want to come to a great quilt shop, check out Intown Quilters. www.intownquilters.com Hope you find some folks that you're looking for! Maybe there is a guild or group that meets at your nearest quilt shop????

I'm in Macon so still a little too far. There is a great store in Ellerslie. I went there last spring as part of the middle Georgia shop hop. Sundays Best is the name. You should definitely go there. They have a lot of classes and other groups that meet. Check out their website and you will see what I mean. There is also a shop in Columbus that was fairly large with a good selection of fabrics. Between the two stores you should be able to connect to a group or guild. Good luck!

Hi, Lots more GA people than Alabama people on here, I think. I am in Greenville, AL, which is below Montgomery. Glad to chat even though we are fairly far apart.
