In honor of the centennial of the National Park Service, a quilt exhibit is touring the country. The 177 quilts are at 4 sites in Will County, IL until July 3. My DD and I went to 3 of them this weekend and will go to the 4th this weekend. ReconnectWithNature.org

I don't have any info about where else it will be shown, but if you have a chance to see it, definitely go. It is well worth it. There are 3 wallhangings for each park--flora, fauna and landscape.

It sounds like a fabulous display. How fun to share time with your daughter looking at quilts.

Wow that sounds great! I'll have to check into this more.

This is a different exhibit than the one I saw. The exhibit I saw has 3 quilts from each National Park--flora, fauna and landscape.

Oh! It sounds like it would be really interesting to see-lucky you :-)

I was lucky to see it. I've been looking for a link to the national tour and haven't been able to find one.

What a great display. Hope we can keep all the real National Parks humming and available to everyone

Although it is a 4 year exhibit, I can't find where it is going next! https://www.reconnectwithnature.org/...tribution-list http://www.chicagotribune.com/suburb...408-story.html
