09-15-2023This weekend in the Miami County/Johnson County area of Kansas City you can "hit" 3 different quilt shows in one day!
Start at either the Spring Hill, KS city-wide celebration and quilt show (at the Spring Hill Middle School), then travel 10 miles further south on Hwy 169 to Paola, KS for the 39th Miami County Quilters Guild Drag & Brag show at the Paola Middle School (open from 10-5pm). Once you've taken in all those quilts and the vendors (and bedturning at 2pm), head back toward Overland Park KS via Hwy 69 and view the Blue Valley Quilt Guilds show at the Overland Park Arboretum on 179th St.
We are expecting great weather--a shower at dawn and then high of upper 60's. So anyone in the KC Area, check these out!
