I'm back and trying to catch up. Went to Baker City for a Celebration of Life service for FIL. Service was very nice and it was great having all the kids there. I survived the SIL and only had to scream into a towel once. She tries my patience!!
Waved at Sandy on the way through The Dalles-
I am arriving at the retreat on Thursday with all of you. Now that life can return to normal I will get into my quilting room and figure out a project to bring along.
Girl time! Fun time! Looking forward to it!!

According to google search there are a couple in the downtown area. Looks like one is only a couple blocks from the quilt shop maybe.

Oh I've been to a cute Quilt store in Astoria! It's right by the wine store-Cellar on 10th! How do I know that -hmmmmmm!! Everytime I go to Astoria I have to stop and visit. The people are very nice.

Welcome back Alice glad you are back! Hope FIL's celebration of life was good.

Talked to Candlequilter today and she didn't see the post. She will talk to DH tonight and see if she can join in. I have told a few to pm Cindy! Hope that is ok.

I desparetly need girl time with lots of laughter. Make sure we all bring extra!

I have too many projects-I'm having a hard time trying to decide. I do have a jelly roll if we decide to make the quilt. I'll just take a look and see what comes of it?!

No jelly roll projects for me. Sounds too personal.

I think I will bring a kit of some source. I learned at the last one that I need to work on something that does not require too much brain work because all of that laughing is very distracting! LOL or maybe it had something to do with the wine

Hey Cindy,
Have you kept track of who wants to bring what food? I think I recall volunteering a main dish and some apple crisp. Since it was so many pages ago, it might be good to do a refresher since we're getting close!!! Yay!!!

Also, what time can we check into the house? Thanks for doing the arranging this time! I can relax and enjoy the ride! :)
