OK ... you are NOT going to believe why I can't come. It's because I'll be attending the 50th birthday party of my best friends husband. Have other friends from MI, OH, MO, KY, and Maine coming in for it too.

Here's the weird part, birthday boy lives in Atlanta Georgia. Party is at his parents house. IN KOKOMO!!!

I'll be IN Kokomo but I can't come!!!

And no, no chance at all of getting away. Between all the friends that will be there (friends I only see once a year), all the food (*Farm* food!!!), and the other activities we have planned (lots of us are on dog club committee's together), not to mention the fact that it's a 3 hour drive - there is no way I can get away.

How cruel is that??

Plan on me and DH. I am hoping we can drive up Friday morning and then spend the night at a motel. He might consider this as a birthday present. Last year we were in Marion for my Birthday and I got to visit the Hall of Fame.
