Upcoming Georgia QB Meeting at Intown Quilters, Decatur, Ga
Ok, Folks, here we go again....
I'm in touch with Sarah at Intown Quilters for our next meeting: possible dates for her are 12/17 or 12/31 or 1/21 or 1/28 for Saturdays . Can I get a quick show of hands on who can come on which days so we can go ahead and book it? Thanks and I hope more of you will be able to make this one on s Sat. We'll do a pot luck, show & tell, and maybe some sewing, certainly lots of shopping:) Jo |
I think that any of the dates except for 12/31 would work for me.
I think 12-17 or 1-21 would be open for me. Thanks! Mgrubbs
I think that either of the January dates would work for me. December is just too busy!
Jo, I'm still tethered to oxygen 24/7 (probably several more months) so I won't be able to make the meeting. Have a bunch of fun, no matter which day it is!

Can't make a dec. at all Jan better Did they do the one in Nov with the new QB Lost track of it
I wish I could join in the fun, but my husband's health prevents me from attending. Y'all have fun!

January would probably work better for me.

January w/b better for me.

January is definitely better. I also would love the opportunity to either speak to the group sometime in the future or to any of the area guilds. I have a new book coming out about Barn quilts--the painted quilts on barns that are all across the country. I've done a couple of presenations--most recently in Peachtree City with the Southern Crescent ladies, and the interest has been terrifics!
Here is a link to my blog; let me know if anyone is interested in putting something together. http://americanquilttrail.blogspot.com/ |
All the proposed dates are good for me. Yes, GrannyJan, we met at A Scarlet Thread on the 4th and had a lovely time with shopping/eating/show&tell and a pineapple ruler presentation. Weren't many of us but I believe all there enjoyed themselves. And Mona figured out my stitch length selector problem on my new machine! Very much appreciated, used the machine to paper-piece the next weekend at a guild sew-in. Thanks again Mona!
Right now the only date I have open is 1/21
December is better for me; the other two dates are already booked (one is a sewing retreat with American Sewing Guild in Macon)
Definitely Jan. is better then Dec.
Thanks, Joyce |
January is better for me.

January dates are better for me than December. I'd love to know more about barn quilts (are there any in GA???) or I'm open to learning about anything that anybody wants to present....so I'll try to make a January date if one is chosen. I'm not doing much with this board due to not learning it yet (and no time to get used to it) so please PM me when the date is chosen; that will pop up in my email and I'll know to check here. Thanks!
January dates would work for me better also, December is very busy and I have family that will be here for the holidays.
Unsure have a lot going on both months
Sorry, but I can't make any of the days.
Hey y'all, I really meant to make the Scarlet Thread trip, but did not hear about the details...too busy quilting and not on the board much...any of those dates would get me to Intown!!

Would love to, but have too much going on in both months.
I will not be able to come.
January 21th is best for me. I will notify my guild too. Anyone else from the coastal area, I would be willing to drive. Phannie.

hello... I am not available on any saturdays or sundays. I care for my mom and have no one to sit with her on the weekends. Thanks for letting me know though and you guys have fun.
January will fit my schedule better
I am not active with this board, but I would like to make the meeting if it's held in January. December is too full.

I could make....
December but not January. Looking at ankle surgery sometime in January. Have no definite date yet.
But still interested in coming. Just needs to be a Saturday or Sunday for sure. |
Sound like fun, but don't count on me this time. Thanks.
So sorry I will not be able to attend. I hope you all have fun!

Won't know until that day arrives...I have a seriously ill father that is day by day. Will come if possible.
January would be better for me.
I think you sent this to the wrong person. Sorry
Jan is better for me..Also I am in a wheelchair..are there steps?? Can you let me know
Thanks Kathy |
The two dates in Jan are both open for me. Get one nailed down before my calender gets full.(Ha Ha). Looking forward to the meet-up. Thanks for organizing these. They really are sew much fun. I like the idea of a cutting bee, where everyone brings fabric and cutting tools, and we cut different size strips, have a swapping frenzy, and then sew our strips. F&P had it on one of their broadcasts. Sounded fun.

Jan would br best.
