OH, I wish I could go. I, also, know the camp as I have family right down the road from it. But it is on my weekend to work unless (something major changes at work). :(

If I am in Michigan then I want to come. Keep it simple. We retreat often. We can do our own show and tell and not have to pay a speaker. You learn from everyone else that is there. That is how you make new friends and bond with each other. It sounds great. You could also do a white elephant exchange instead of door prizes. We have great success with that too.

What happens if we have a snow storm? If for any reason the retreat would have to be cancelled because of an "act of God", are there fees? Remember - this is MIchigan. Anything can happen.

Yes, they are in an old firestation. As far as the weather issue, I will check with camp to see what policy is, thanksfor reminding me. I am so afraid I will mess up somehow, so amm takingALL suggestions. Of course, the weather dont usually phase me, of course you never know. I will be sure to have a plan for that. I get more excitted by the day.
