My quilt group is looking for a new quilt retreat in Minnesota. We have done Lake Beauty for years but thought it would be fun to try others. Does anyone know of any within 3 hours of the Twin Cities?

Pins N Needles Quilt Shop in St Croix Falls, WI - across the river from Taylors Falls, MN - one hour north of the Twin Cities - has a retreat above it. It's called Lambs Inn. The cost is $25.00 per night and sleeps 6. Here is the web site - http://pinsnneedlesquiltshop.com/

the YMCA camp at Lake Sturgeon has 3 a year- with working full time I have only made it to 1 retreat-- but I will go back-- great food and a fun bunch of ladies to sew with- contact the YMCA office in Duluth. Some of the ladies in my quilt guild go twice a year to one in Hackensack MN--I think it is held at a nature center

Rosebud Cottage in White Bear Lake has at least one retreat a year, I believe, in the fall. I'm sure it would be a fun one -- a friend of hers owns the LQS in my town in Georgia, and our fall "play time" was wonderful.

For several years I have gone to Cozy Home Stitches and Retreat Center in Kasson, MN (close to Rochester) and really enjoyed my time there. I go twice a year and always look forward to going back. Go to http://cozyhomeretreat.com and check it out.

There is a new quilt retreat in Lanesboro, MN. They have a lovely sewing area and the accommodations are wonderful.
Please check them out at http://www.stonemillsuites.com/groups.htm. Lanesboro, is a lovely town to visit.
