There will always be sales....but there is only ONE Sister's Quilt Show on ONE day of the year!!

That is sad news! I always detour off 5 when I'm heading south to stop at the store. Will they be open on Friday? The ladies were so nice and I really enjoyed the stop and the store.

We will be thinking of you Karen! Next year for sure you will be going! Love those kids and grandkids but they just can't get in the way anymore. You'll have a good time with them! Spoil them all you can. :thumbup: :thumbup:

Here's the weather report-Friday 74! Sat and Sun 81 it is going to be perfect! I can't wait will need to start packing! Two more days and we will be heading out-it is going to be so much fun.

I also read on the website that this will be the first year they will have somethings on Sunday also. People have commented that its too much to see in such little time and it gets too crowded. Couldn't read all the paper on line my computer was not cooperating!

I'd like to say that the kids can't get in the way but when I have 2 birthdays on the 10th, it kind of works against me! Can't change birthdays! I'm sure you'll have enough for me too!

There will be indoor quilts on display on sunday also. Jean is doing a class on Sunday, or a lecture or something. Yes, it is the first time activities have extended to Sunday. It is called "Save it for Sunday" or something like that. There is so much going on this week over there. I thought (for one very brief moment) of going over today to go to the store. Then I decided it was too hot.

They say that a few years ago (when it was sooooo hot) that the fire alarm went off in the school during a crowded time during the classes. The school did not have air conditioning. that has changed now...air conditioning at the new school.

Faith-my name tag is in the bag! Last year at the last min. I made a sign for Quilting Board. It was literally last minute. The place I was staying at had a little pile of scraps so I borrowed a stake from there and some cardboard! Sparky and I laughed! But the group found us at the park!

This year a few of us will have our name badges on made specially by Feathers! She was so sweet and made all of us at our beach retreat one so all new who was who! Look for the quilted squares on some of us!
