Does anyone know if there are any Quilt Shows in Maryland? I am new to quilting and would love to go to one. I have searched the internet and haven't been able to find any info on quilt shows in the Balto/Washington area.

I know MQX EAST will be in Providence, Rhode Island on April 11-16. Many classes you can take.

Your nearest large show is probably the Mid-Atlantic Quilt Show and Festival. It is put on by Mancuso and is held Feb. 24-27 in Hampton, Virginia. There may be other smaller, local shows closer to you in Maryland. This is a really great show held at a large convention center and usually has a great choice of merchants as well! Goucher College is having thier quilt show March 12,they have alot of venders, the Annapolis show at the High School that's nice too I haven't gotten the date yet,that's every two years.The Friendship Quilters in Columbia at a church off Rt. 24 that's every two years. When I stop at Seminole Sampler and get dates of upcomming shows, I do go to the show in Va. I stay a week at my friends house in N.C.if I get the datesfor the upcomming show I will let you know. I live in Arbutus.
