Anyone else going? It will be my first time. I'm taking a 2 day class. Got any suggestions of what not to miss?

I am planning on going. Probably on Friday. I would love to go for 2 days, which we always used to do but don't know what my friends want to do yet.
I have never taken classes but have been to about 7 Roads and really enjoy going!!!

Hi Sparky,

I am planning on going, but not sure which day. I usually go Thursday or Friday, but not sure if I am going to take the day off of work. I have never taken any of the classes, but there are tons of vendors, and so many beautiful quilts to look at. You will have a great time!

I am going and will be white gloving from 2 - 4 on Thursday since our guild will be displaying a quilt. Don't miss the quilts - they are such an incredible inspiration if nothing else.

pssst Don't tell anyone, but there is a vendor there that sells the most wonderful handdyed t-shirts. I've got 2 of them and friends have them also. They are really nice. I want to make sure she still has some in my size when I get there!!
There is always a booth from Pincushion Boutique. They have the best fat quarter packs called Sweet Treats. They are extra special.
Have fun. I am taking two classes. I've taken some before and the teachers are excellent.

I went to Road three years ago. Lucky enough to have a friend in Ontario/Chino so it worked out well. Took a class. Very large show - much bigger than any in Maine. Also, much more out of the box and more artsy quilts than in my locale. I just enjoyed the awesome experience and the weather in January! Going to Quilting in the Desert in Phoenix this year - same time as Road. Enjoy!

I am going and taking a one day class - this is the first time for a class - Hand Applique. Can't wait. I think I will go another day too so I can tour the quilts and shop.
