Shop Hop in Columbus, OH WOW!!!
#1
Yesterday, Sat. had the time of my life. Wow, first time I have ever done this and it was great. Drove about 70 miles to Grove City where we started and went to a total of 6 of the 10 shops that participated. would have gone to one more but they closed before we could get there. What fun. Four of us went, I did the driving, I am the youngest. We went to shops we had never been to before. We sure plan on visiting them again. This is a Quilt Spree Event and in July there is another shop hop and in Dec all the shops will be under one roof at the Holiday Inn in Worthington.
The four of us had such a great day, we were all newbies about hopping. all total I drove 266 miles round trip but it was worth it.

Hi, the next part of the Quilt Spree is July 22-31, 2010, go to www.myquiltspree.com. The third part is Dec. 3-4.
There are 10 shops involved. May 1, was the first part, you could buy your pasport, which i did. and get it stamped as you went. so in july i can go to the four we didn't go to and get stamped. the passport is $15, but you get 10 quilt patterns with it. Check out the site. you should go in July.
The shops we went to were:
Always in Stitches 5*
Glass Thimble 5*
Quilt Beginnings 5*
QuiltBeginnings North 5*
Quilt Trends 5*
Calico Cupboard 2*
5* = GREAT SHOP!!!!! Worth the trip.
By the way how is the Basket Building in Newark? Are you a Longaberger fan?
