My daughter is supposed to go to her in-laws on Mother's Day (we had them at Easter and that's how it is). BUT she made a plan for Saturday instead. We'll go to my grandson's soccer game - he's 4 and likes to compare his cleats to the shoes of the other kids - so far that's his soccer involvement! My mother will also be there - she's 82. Then the ladies will go get pedicures and the men will take the kids to daughter's house and start the BBQ pit. I'm really looking forward to it and am thinking we'll get a better visit this way than on the official day.

I'm not a mother and our moms are gone. I'll be thinking of my mom that day and saluting my friends who are mothers.

I'll be home wishing my kids would drive up the driveway! One is 4 hours away, 1 is 6 hours and the other one is also 6 in a different direction.

I'm a cat mom so will be getting feline cuddles.

Then it's off to visit my Mom an hour north of us then off to visit hubby's Mom an hour south of my parents. Saturday, I am a vendor at a mall craft fair with my glass etching. So, busy weekend.
