I am making a applique Rose of Sharon quilt for my daughter, Tia Rose and her new husband, they were married in September. Here is a picture of the top without the borders. I'm working on them now.

That's just beautiful. Your daughter and son in law will love it. I have a rose of sharon pattern that has been kicking around my home for 15 years or so. Some day soon I hope I'll get to it, but first I need to brush up on my applique. Unlike you, I'm a bit rusty!
