Thanks for the kind words, everyone. The mission trip we go on is with the Good News Project in WI. They have a big fund raiser every Oct. with a Caribbean dinner and silent auction. The table runner will be donated to the silent auction. We build little houses for the homeless on the island of Dominica. (not the Dominican Republic) People donate the house wares for each house, so I have taken it upon myself to make the curtains for the houses. They each have six windows and two bedroom doorways that have curtains also. I made curtains for one of the houses for the upcoming trip out of this rooster fabric and had about a half yard left, so after wondering for a while about what to use that half yard for, I decided on the table runner. I hope they like it and bid a lot for it!!!
