    I started with a jacket pattern that fit me and made a muslin base. Then I took the scraps of denim I cut into rectangles, started embellishing, then laid them on the muslin base until it was filled. I did the same with the fronts and the sleeves. So just go for it! Start digging into your stash, your notions and your imagination!

    Anybody want to see the pics of me with my sewing gurus?

    I got a picture of me in my silk tie jacket from last year with Eleanor Burns, Margaret Miller and Marti Michell as well.

    Don't know how I'm going to top that next year!
