After re-reading the brochure, it turns out these are not placemats, but a 12 piece set that this quilter made to hang on her hearth, one for each month of the calendar. Glad you asked so I could get it straight.

I also echo... Thanks for sharing. I love this time of year because there are usually loads of quilt shows and I love when our members post pictures. It is so much fun to see all the talent out there. The Birds quilt was very cool. What kind of fabric does one use to get that semi-transparent shadowing effect?

A really nice selection of quilts; thanks for sharing with us. Love the quilt you and your husband collaborated on. My cousin used some of those fabrics in her "Happy Trails" quilt, completely different from yours. That's one of the great things about quilting -- the interpretation.

Just looking at "The Birds" made my skin feel crawly LOL.

You're quite welcome. Thank you for your compliment, too. Do you happen to have a pic of your cousin's quilt? I'd love to see how she made hers if possible.

I share your sentiments about "The Birds", too!

I enjoyed 'your' quilt show and I am glad I wasnt the judge there as the quilts were all gorgeous. Your boot quilt was also spectacular!
