I think you are being too hard on yourself. Hubby loves it, so that is what truly matters. It looks like kitty likes it, too.
I think it's a very pretty quilt. I love the colors.

belie ve it or not- This is a really nice quilt. colors blend well but area good contrast and the placement of the blocks let your eye move aroung the quilt. dark border really make the inside blocks POP! Really niice job- you done good!!!!!

You know - it's no where near the ugly quilt you made it sound like. The colors are great - very manly - and you did a great job quilting. It's really very nice. Be proud and not apologetic.

I don't think your quilt is ugly at all, it's very pretty and masculine looking. Besides, as long as the receipent loves it that is all that matters. The importance is you made it for him yourself, putting in lots of love and time. Great job!
