    I made one but I boxed the bottom and put regular straps on the top. It holds more and gets many compliments. And the 'snap' works just fine - if I don't overload the bag, that is!

    I love making these. You can add trims to the outside too.
    Found the best place to get the tape measures is at the dollar store. I also use a double layer of the measuring tape, put together round the ends a little, then use electrical tape wrapped around the ends.

    Love snap bags! Made them in seveal sizes! and yes...Dollar store has great tape measures. DH wanted mine but not after I trimmed off 9".Just remember to tape the end so it won't retract into itself!
