This turned out great. I want to make one too and I bet it doesn't take me 10 minutes either, probably more like an hour.

Very pretty! I did the same thing on my 10 minute block quilt! I didn't like the bulky seam behind my 'window' either!

Beautiful quilt. I love the cathedral window effect and would never have thought of that. Also cutting out the bump-I thimmed mine but could have just cut it out! So many good hints for my "next" one but I have to get the first quilted first since it is/was supposed to be a gift. I keep getting stalled on smaller and easier projects. How are you going to quilt it? I am undecided on that and my quilting is in the beginner stage at best.

That is so cool. Love the cathedral windows version. I have not tried that yet.

Beautiful quilt. I have made one in that pattern. What i want to know is - how do you get the navy edging on the window? Someone else did one similar and i was unclear on how its done. It adds so much to the quilt, I think.

Really great looking. I tried a few 10 minute blocks because I liked the idea of the block being 20" but thought the center looked too small for the blocks but if I use a 7" square for the center as you did the block looks much better. Thanks for sharing your quilt and your idea. May in Jersey
