Wonderful!!! I agree... that extra block would have made if too busy. Beautiful! Looking forward to seeing it completed.

I'm working on one of these now too. I did the 10 minute blocks as a Fun & done. Lots of work, but now I only have to sew the 5 rows together, roll over the edges to make the binding. It's king size and so glad I did it this way. To quilt it would have been a struggle in the 6 1/2 throat of my Bernina. (I have an old one.)
