Beautiful, I would do a large meander, FMQ, large stipple, not sure the proper term, and find a contrasting fabric for the binding. That sounds the most comfortable to me. Just my opinion.

I also vote for birthing it due to the lack of extra fabric for the binding.
    Ditto!!! Don't tie it!

    Nice quilt!

For babies, I always birth the quilt. Sewing again 1/2" around edges after turning. A very stable quilt that will go through years of washing.

Okay I am number25 so the quilt is probably completed by now. Would like to see it.

Please, what is 'birthing' a quilt?
    Thanks

This is what I would do too. It would make it fluffy and cozy. Lovely quilt.

It's putting the right sides together and stitching almost all the way around. Then with the little space that is left, at least 6 inches I'm told you reach in and flip it right side out and sew the opening closed.

But I think the general consensus is to birth it and tie it, but I might SID because of the little knots and fingers getting stuck in it. Didn't think of that, thanks!!

Quilt and bind. Fleece stretches and tying can cause it to sag....
