A really neat idea my Dn has a poster bed and never thought of that It would even be easy for her to make her bed shes 9. and am getting ready to start her quilt going to remoldel her room for her birthday why she is visiting her nanna for 2weeks and then with her aunt and uncle for 2 weeks before school starts up again. she rides horses and competes in barrel bending in the little britches rodeos her horse is at my brothers anyway and then why she is up there Iwill hav saturdays and sundays free from taking the kids to their rodeo I sound like a bad mom but the way you made the borders r perfect I am always learning from you'all I just started quilting last year thank you!!***

Nice job. Maybe use some type of a swirl quilting pattern. Either free motion or panto. What about his hobbies? Could you quilt in some words or designs related to those? :)

Thank you, everyone, for all the lovely complements! You all are good for my ego! ; )

I decided to meander it. I ended up making a stencil of my own for that and hope to be done marking it by the end of today. Can't *wait* to get started on quilting it! : )

Great job! I've never seen the border treatment you used and think it's perfect for that quilt.
