Beautiful quilt! What a treasure! Are you sure you are able to part with it? Your LQS may know of someone who does quilt appraisals. Otherwise search the internet for someone in your area. Good luck!

It's a wonderful example of mid 19th century applique. Just gorgeous! These quilts have great value if in good condition. I see them auctioned and many go for thousands of dollars. Take a look at these beautiful red and green quilts on Rocky Mountain Quilts website>>

The Piedmont Quilters Guild of Greensboro,NC, had a professional appraiser at their fall 2010 show.She was from Roanoke VA. They could give you the contact info.
