Both are really pretty. Isn't it funny how we may think some fabric is not so great and when you put it together scrappy it turns out quite wonderful Thanks for sharing.

Maybe not, but these blocks were in a bag that I hadn't used up last fall. I had previously used up the most interesting ones to make other things. I decided last fall to use them all up (2.5"), and thus, I named it my bag of "blah" blocks.

I had seen plenty of neat blocks/prints on line of people who made SUPER NEAT and fascinating scrappy quilts. My blocks were basically uninteresting, sometimes solids and sometimes just 'nothing' types of fabric--just fabric that was 'there'. That is why I called them "Blah"...they weren't particularly beautiful or fascinating prints.
