Amazing and so large! Looks like a lot of work but well worth it.

They both look so good. It always amazes me what beautiful quilts can be made with scraps.

Lovely quilts. I've never done a scrappy but your beauties have inspired me to add this to my very long list of "to dos"

We have our own charity. We give out the quilts here to poor people or people who have lost everything in fires or have sick kids, or whatever....people with financial needs.

I'm undecided what to do with these quilts. I may "compromise" and finish them (by quilting-sewing, not tying, which is how we normally do the charity ones) and try to sell them to raise money for the batting, which I buy by the roll (30-50 meters, depending on the thickness). Or I might keep one or two of them, or whatever. I don't know.

The lines run kind of fuzzy in our lives.

Lots of things get donated to people who are in need that maybe never started out with that intention. I've not promised anyone what I'm going to do with them, so there are no obligations. We'll see. I just don't need all the quilts I already have.

Wow! Very impressive and inspiring. Most of my stash is scraps right now and I need to get going on a couple of scrap quilts myself. Just a couple of more projects to finish up first. Thanks for sharing and letting us know that scraps really can become something beautiful!
