Default 2 new finished tops

These 2 quilt patterns are Krista Moser's newest pattern called Lollipops & Licorice using Jen Kinwell's Lollies fabrics. Don't know if you can see in the close up of the block but the black stripe is printed in the fabric and you cut a 41/2" diamond, add green triangles to make triangles, make some half units to add to edges and sew together in rows and your're done.

The second is a bonus quilt called Gumdrop which uses the leftover triangles from the 1st quilt plus 3/4 yd of additional background fabric. Triangles are 3 1/2" and again make hexagons, join and sew into rows.

I bought the kit from Krista's website (it sold out in 3 hrs.) and she has tutorials posted on her blog. They were super easy to do and went together really fast, now I just need to quilt them. Did I mention I've become a Krista Moser quilt addict as these are 4 & 5 I've done and I have 2 more ready to start.

These are great! I will have to go to the blog and read instructions. I just made some pillows with a diamond shape. I used the rhombus ruler from Missouri Star and it has a mark to cut half diamonds. Good job!

I was going to ask about the black lining if it was a narrow strip - pretty cool that it's printed into the fabric. This quilt looks quite challenging, great job!

On her blog she says you can use any stripe fabric might try it next time. It was simple easy with the Jen Kingwell fabric though.

Sharp looking quilts - I always enjoy Krista Moser designs and that striped fabric is perfect!

What fabulous "two for one" quilts! So clever to use the stripe in the fabric design and come up with a clever pattern to showcase it. I will have to check out her blog. Thanks
