Default 2 new finishes!

Hi, everyone!

This first one is a pattern called After the Storm, and it's from a Love of Quilting magazine from several years ago. It's for my husband's niece and her new husband. She was in an abusive relationship for a long time, and she finally managed to free herself. Her new husband is wonderful, and I thought the pattern name was appropriate.

This is the Stellar Evolution pattern from Quilters Newsletter magazine (also from a few years ago). It's a wedding gift for my husband's nephew and his new bride. I'm calling it Stars on Thars after my favorite Dr. Seuss book, The Sneetches. This is one of the most fun quilts I've made. The blocks were fun, and it was like a puzzle putting them all together.

Thank you for looking!

They are both lovely. I'm especially intrigued by the diagonal lines of color in the first quilt. What a wonderful name for it, and a thoughtful gift.

I would be hard pressed to say which I like best. They are both beautiful and will make wonderful gifts.

Two beauties! I'm really intrigued by that first one. Never saw a design quite like it.

Both quilts are wonderful gifts, and so imbued with meaning.

Yes, really appropriate name. It's a pretty unusual pattern and your version is nice!!!

Both are lovely, but I like the second one best.
