Default My Try at Modern

This is for a Modern guild challenge. Black and white and you were supplied with one other colour. Must say this wasn't my first attempt I went through a number of projects before I got to this one... "Modern" is new to me, but I'm really intrigued by it.

I also discovered that if you don't own a Hera marker, I could use my pizza cutter to mark the lines on the fabric just as well. Be sure to test your pizza cutter to make sure it isn't too sharp on some scrap fabric. I don't want anyone cutting their quilt and blaming me because they have a sharper pizza cutter than I did.

Well, I think you did great with your Modern Quilt Challenge. I love how you try so many new things & how you can "think out of the box". My box lid is air tight & nothing comes out of it! Give yourself a pat on the back for this one because you did good.

The quilting is really cool. I love giving a modern twist to my traditional layouts.
