Been very busy with quilts this year, and here's a very special one made for my "expected Grand Niece" to be named Macy.

Can I ask, did you make the brown "comforter" on the bed???? If so could you give us some hints techniques.

Yes, I designed the quilt and used the QAYG method so I could do it all myself. It's a plus to have 2 quilts for the price and work of one. The secret is the connectors and back "covers" to hold everything together. I found this technique on www.treadleon.net. Made alot this year and taught workshops for my guild members several times.

Wouldn't you know, while getting ready to travel to the baby shower for Macy, I wrecked my back while putting on my slacks. Just one of those zigs when I should have zagged I guess. Hubby gave up his day to drive me so I could deliver the quilt; however, didn't get to stay for the shower because I felt too bad. Haven't heard from the "mommy" to see how she liked her quilt. Oh well, I'm a disaster always ready to happen. ha ha
