Paula you out did yourself! that is perfect for the center. I was so stumped as what would work on that round but you did it marvelously! oh dear now to follow up on that one! yikes!!!

Thanks all. I love Kelly's idea of enter the completed project in the fair. I can only imagine how beautiful it will be when she is done quilting it - and she can hide any of our little oops too.

Here's Melinda's center with my round. I've lost 1/2" total somehow - hopefully someone can find a way to work an extra 1/4" to each side of their border?

oh goody then I can start sweating! both of you have done really nice work on those quilts would never know someone else had taken a hand to them.. which is amazing.. now they will come to me.. gulp. did I say gulp???
