I just love the optical illusion quilts, I am making one but mine has rectangular pieces instead of the squares, mine is queen size.

What a gorgeous and thoughtful gift. So glad you could finish it prior to the wedding with no property damage to boot. I know what you mean about quilts leaving quickly. Usually as soon as the binding is done, it is gone for a specific purpose. The quilts meant for us are still waiting to be finished LOL

I like everything about it. The 3D pattern is outstanding. I especially like the way you placed the colors. The use of neutrals in the upper right just magnify the beauty of the color gradation. I know it will be especially loved.
