Man you have flat got the hang of machine quilting. I am having issues with mine. I am using my quilter's sewing machine not a longarm like yours. Going to try a new thread & see if that works.

I've been told that double knit poly is great for homeless quilts-very warm and wears like iron!

The colors in the first two are stunning. Great job on the quilting. Yea, I would imagine quilting polyester would be a challenge but you obviously met the challenge and did a great job.

That is a great point. I think it would be great to get some of these poly knit stashes to an individual or organization that does projects for the homeless.

When Mom was able to spend more time on traditional quilting she donated what was left of her poly knit stash to a lady at her church that does lap quilts for the area nursing homes.

Well persistence and perfection certainly do pay off. They are lovely quilts and you have done a fine job bringing out their best. Your customer should be very happy with these, I know I would be.

these are quilts that i made for a vacation house that we had. the one that was finished in 1988 is king sized. the other two, finished in 1990, are doubles.

they weighed a ton and were my mother's poly knitted clothes, used for this when she died.
