We are impressed with them too! I think joining the strips at an angle really adds to the overall design.

I do do a lot of these. I've gotten in the habit of cutting leftover fabrics into either 3 1/2" or 2 1/2" strips and color coordinate them the best I can. I also a lot of times put a applique on them to fancy them up some. I like your slant seams but aren't they a pain to have to cut off the tails? Great job.

Great quilts! Just finished a top with fabrics I fell in love with from Ann Arbor quilt show I like to attend. Fun and quick. Now to sandwich and quilt.
