Default 3 quilts in a week

I've been off work since Dec 18 and have been having so much fun having all day / night to sew sew sew and more sewing!

I decided that this year I have to make more "complicated" quilts, BUT I'm not going to make them massive since I have also decided to abandon FMQ all together (it is the devil incarnate, I swear LOL)

Here's what I have been working on - I will be adding a 10-inch border all the way around it and using my embroidery machine to do a design

This one was lots of fun LOL

And this is the only one that is quilted - and then I broke my machine trying to clean it!

I am in love with the all orange one shown on top. Would love to find the pattern. May I ask the name or is it your own design.
Why in heaven's didn't I think of using my embroidery machine to quilt. I have been having a horrible time with FMQ and am bored with Stitch in the Ditch.

Fantastic colors and designs! I need to use my decorative stitches too. Can't wait to see the finished products!

Although I've not started to learn FMQ I would like to learn it. It really takes time to learn how to do it. But once you get the hang of it, I heard it's really cool.

The fabric are terrific in your first class. Would never have chosen them but they work surprisingly great together.
