Good story about the blocks. The quilts are darling.

I love Sues of all styles. These turned out incredible. The quilting is extraordinary. Your border treatment is spot on. My favorite is the purple. It really pops those Sues. Thanks for posting.

These quilts are examples of how quilting can make the difference between a good quilt and a great quilt. These "little ladies" are great. The quilting is wonderfully superb!

The Sunbonnet Sue blocks are charming, to say the least. However, your use of stripped sashings and nine=patch keystones really make them come alive. What a treasure you have created for three special young ladies!

What great quilts! I finish a lot of projects that are started by other people and I am in awe of your creative piecing and quilting. The lady who made the original Sues would be delighted!

I absolutely love what you have done with the Sunbonnet Sue blocks. The three quilts have individual appeal because of the fabrics you chose for each one. Your quilting is beautifully done. The third one is stunning with its more modern look. I know your efforts will be a treasure for years to come.

Can only duplicate all the responses so far. Your quilting elevated them to a new level and a real treasure for the girls. I'm sure your SIL's friend was absolutely blown away by your talent and creativity.

Wow your quilting is awesome. Gorgeous quilts; reminds of my grandmother; she made dozens and dozens of them years ago and sold at church's "women's exchange". She also made pillows to go with them; relatively flat with a zipper to remove the 'pillow' insert with a handle; cause as she said "kids love to carry things around". I still have some of them like 40 or more years after the fact. I adore your efforts. They are SO cute. Great job.
