    it is english paper piecing- so the small pieces are not that difficult- since you have a (template). the smallest piece in these is that last block-with 3/4" pieces for the center star & first round around it. a few years ago i made a quilt for my mom that actually had 1/4" hexagons made into flowers...now those were small! they turned out soooo cute---but oh my what a pain! the most difficult part was removing the papers.
    and as for the (number question)
    there are over 100 blocks --so far--- i have somewhere in the 50's finished- so i have a ways to go---

    I love english paperpeicing, as it's something I can tote with me in a small container in my purse to dr or dentist appts and kill a little time while I wait!! Yours are beautiful and I love the colors. I usually not much of a pink person but done this way they are wonderful!!!!!!
