wonderful story and I think she was enticing you to sew/quilt & it looks like you did exactly what she wanted---you certainly made it look fabulous!

I love the old quilts the best. They were done with such love, not that those today aren't too, but for many back then it was a matter of survival, and they gave their all in those quilts for their families. That quilt is beautiful, and a very special treasure.
