    What a wonderful heirloom! As quilters we can appreciate the labor of love that went into the first making of the top and now that it is finished you get to appreciate the warmth as well. Good job with the redo!

    That is such a wonderful story and a lovely quilt. I admire your thrift. So many people would have just donated that top. And look how beautiful it is.

    That's so cool! It inspires me, I have about 10 pieced tops I got when my grandmother went to heaven about 30 yrs ago. They've been in the top of my closet, but now I know what to do with them! Thanks.
