Great quilts and wonderful story of friendship! Couldn't bring home much fabric but I hope you had some shipped!

What a wonderful friend you are. It's lovely to see people remain friends for so long. Being a military wife and moving every couple of years I never had that type of friendships. I have however three very close friends, one I met 20 years ago this Easter and after having only known each other for 5 minutes I knew I had met the sister I had never had. It was as if we had known each other all our lives. My other two friend who I meet with once a week with quilting in mind, I met in a quilt class in 2004. I hadn't been quilting 6 months at that stage and had just moved back across the country from Western Australia. I treasure these 3 friends and hope we have lots more years of fun to share.
BTW your first quilt jumped out and grabbed me. It's just gorgeous, and in my favourite colors. Well done!

I am still good friends with several of my high school buddies. I would love to copy your poem and make something for them.

I forgot to tell you what lucky friends you have to be friends with someone as sweet as you to make these remembrances. Beautiful quilts.
