My grandmother was my quilting mentor and she passed away in 1979. She started the quilting guild at her church and quilted there for 50 yrs or better. I have one of her old quilts, lots of table cloths, doilies, chair cloths, etc that she quilted, crocheted, embroidered, etc. Wouldn't trade them for the world. I miss her so and know she would be proud to know I followed in her footsteps with my love of sewing!
