    8" Scrappie...

Had to share this with everyone.... This little quilt is made from 8 " squares...front & back. I sewd so many together and then just folded it in half---and tacked it together and there you have it.... a small little 8" scrappie....and the edges I just tacked......

Never would have thought of that idea of flipping it in half and tacking together. Did you put any batting inside? Such pretty scraps.

Great idea. I think I would at least tie it. I would be afraid it would come out a mess when washed and dried.

not if it's sewd together good... I have made many quilts this way and so far so good..... I always wash my quilts as soon as I'm done with them just to make sure they do hold..... but even if they pull apart in some places????? it just shows a little life..... ;-)

Neat idea! for a lite weight throw and no batting expense! These would be nice for nursing home patients, too. They often like a little blanket over their laps all year round.
