    9° MUF finished: "Christmas Panel"

    Hello everyone!
I hope that we all are very good and are enjoying a beautiful day!
I am very happy, because I finished a new MUF (Masterpieces Under Fermentation) or UFO!
It's the number 9 of this year where I wanted to finish old projects.
    Data:
    My Name: "Christmas Panel"
Pattern: "Up On The Roof Top Quilt" by Nancy Halvorsen
    Modifying phrase: Gladys
    Size: 25 1/2" x 28 1/4"
    Started: 27-07-2010
    Completed: 10-05-2013
The modified phrase, is my creation and says:
"Gladly by the rooftops I'm going...
with my friends reindeer and the
guiding stars: will fulfill your dreams!"
I started it 3 years ago and I now just finished it, as once defined the quilting to do: in the "body" of the top where the applications are made a free rollers and star, at the first edge quilting fine arches made to highlight the fabric hearts, in the second fine edge did connected and concentric wheels that I liked and thick outer rim made a continuous design that they simulate leaves and round flowers.
I share some pictures, hoping that they are to your liking. Thank you very much for looking!
I wish you a beautiful weekend!
    A big hug to everyone!

Very pretty. You did a good job. You are doing a good job of getting your UFO's done. You are an inspiration to me to get busy on mine.

    Gladys,
I love your work, as always! But, I have to ask one question.....have you ever actually seen a reindeer? Are there deer in the forests in Argentina?

    Thanks a lot, Jan!
Wow! Your question made me think too much! Hahaha!
It is that I have not really seen reindeer in my life. Only some deers (the variety Brown with white spots - as Bambi) in the few zoos that I've visited, but never a reindeer with all their full antler!
But that doesn't mean that I think that they are beautiful and elegant!
There are so many different species in our world!
And if it weren't for zoos, some never would be seen by all!
Thank you for asking! Made to check names, species and differences in the Web and yesterday I went to bed having learned something new! Perfect day!
    A big hug for you!

This piece is great just like the rest of your works. I think I like MUF better than UFO. LOL!

Your Christmas quilt is beautiful! I only hope to be that good someday! Nine UFO's completed! That is quite an accomplishment.

So cute, and I am sure it's a great feeling to have it done. I love the folk art look, they never go out of style. Your quilting is very nice too.
