I really really like the border, it really looks nice with this quilt, which is beautiful BTW.

I would use a burgandy (?) border, like the one you have in your quilt.

Your pieced border is to die for. I would surround it with either that burgendy fabric or a dark brown fabric so the inner border really pops. That is one beautiful quilt :thumbup:

Very nice; the additions to the border outline gives the quilt top a richness that accents the inner blocks.

I like the pieced border you have, but think it would need to have a solid border to finish it off. BTW, it is a beautiful quilt. I love it.

try getting that gold into the borders. do dark brown (like
you already have) strip of equal or 1/4" smaller of the gold,
the pieced border.--then another strip of the gold, then another dark brown. bind in dark brown or gold. a beautiful
quilt top !
