I like the design of these. I especially like the the first one. I like orchids and have many in the house. I have only had one rebloom.

Well, I got mine at a quilt show on clearance for $4.50, normally $9.00. But you should be able to find the pattern at your LQS. I just waited for a bargain - was unemployed at the time. If your LQS does not carry it, here is an online link to hundreds of purse patterns -

It's very helpful to look at the QB photo tutorial when you do your first one. The pattern instructions could be better, imho.

Love your bags. The first one I made, I thought would be my last. Recently, I started making them again and enjoy it much more this time around. I like the magnetic snaps instead of the button, also.

Hi there,

Well, I took a couple of weeks and went on a road trip vacation with my DH. Then surprisingly, after being laid off for 2 years, I was offered a FT job. It has seriously cut into my sewing and computer time. Tomorrow will be my 4th week on the job, already. I am on the computer at work all day, so sort of don't want to be on too much in the evening - my eyes can't take it that much.
