ALL ARE SO PRETTY, WOW. I WATCHED LAP QUILTING THIS MORNING WITH G. BONESTEEL AND SHE WAS IN CAROLINA WITH ELLEN NOBLE DYEING FABRICS. SO INTERESTED. THERE IS A BOOK ON DYES AND PAINTS BY ELLEN AND YOU USE MUSLIN AND SET A COLOR PAINT. SO NEAT. U SOAK THE MUSLIN, USE SET A COLOR AND DRY IN THE SUN, ETC. SHE EVEN TOOK THE PAINT AND PAINTED IT ON TEH MUSLIN AND LAID LEAVES, FERNS IN IT, SO INTERESTING AND THIS REMINDED ME OF THE BLEACHED FLOWERS. SO U CAN MAKE YOUR OWN FABRIC AND DESIGNS SO EASY. U TAKE THE PAINT AND ADD WATER IN A JAR AND MAKE IT LIKE WATER AND JUST SPREAD THE WHOLE FABRIC WITH IT AND DO AS U PLEASE. SO THIS IS GREAT TO MAKE YOUR OWN COLORS. SO BEAUTIFUL TO SEE IT DONE. HAS ANYONE SEEN THIS, IT IS JUST SO AMAZING AND INTERESTING FOR SURE. U CAN EVEN USE STAMPS, ETC.....

I haven't seen this done before, but it sounds wonderful and I can really see how helpful it would be to this project.

Did you see this on TV or on the internet? I am very interested in seeing it also.

Both Flossy and I bought a set of stuff to do this with - I believe it was called 'Sun Painting'. I lost my set, but Flossy remembers where hers is, though I don't think she's got around to trying it.
