Yep black and white shoes, rah rah skirt and those weird pomp pomp thingies in my hands and I am dancing woo hoo. LOL
Mousie, I will have to come over there and sort you out if you keep on. Your applique is fantastic.

I am hesitant to begin because I don't do applique. However, these blocks are so beautiful, I bought the book. Has anyone used fusing and then machine applique. How does that work for you? Also, which would be the simpliest block to start with? Any information will be of help and encouragement to me. Thanks.

Did you see Kathy's tutorial about machine applique here?http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-105264-1.htm
I hope this helps you. I am also doing machine applique, but A different method where I turn the edges under using heat resistant templates and starch.
If you go into the sew along main thread here http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-95413-1.htm
You will find a schedule at the end of Kathy's first post...it is a timeline of getting the blocks done..of course you don't have to stick to the schedule and you can pick and choose which blocks to do next...but I think block 9 is a good one to start with..not many pieces.
