    After 3 yrs it's finished

    I started this 3 yrs ago, and have worked on it off & on. But decided this last Christmas it would be done. Well it is; King Size (158 x 96 inches). It is machine pieced but hand quilted. The Reason it took so long to finish and I love it...

    I hand quilt, its quite a undertaking to do a king size quilt. I think its beautiful the quilting is perfect.
    Families are like quilts, lives pieced together, stitched with smiles and tears, colored with memory and bound by love.

    Totally beautiful, your hand quilting is wonderful..
    I gave up hand quilting and only machine quilt now. Much faster and since I give most of my quilts away, would be a waste of my time and my fingers. Most wash the quilts every week and allow their big dogs to sleep on them.
