Thank you for sharing your completed quilt. I think many of us have seen your postings about it over the years and are happy to see the finished product. It is a testament to your considerable talent and so very beautiful. Now that it is finished you can enjoy it for 8+ years :-)

That is a magnificent work of art and truly a labor of love. Kudos to you for sticking with it, it was certainly worth the effort. You will be hard pressed to top that on your next project. Thanks for sharing all along the way to the final completed project.

I've watched some of your progress over time & am amazed at your work & the finished quilt. It is a beautiful work of art that was stitched with love & care. I'm so glad you have finished it & have given us the opportunity to view it.

You are all very kind in your words. Thank you. I am very happy to have it done and am thinking about what to do next. The LBB is going to be mine for as long as I'm still around and then get passed on down to my only dear daughter, her daughter after that and the great granddaughter is already wanting it. She'll have to wait a bit I think.

I do agree that the hand quilting was necessary. My hubby insisted it be done by hand and I'm glad he pushed me to do that. I know those stitches don''t show up much in the picture. Every stitch that got done by machine was done on my little featherweight. That is special to me as well. Thanks again.
